The mean height of 8 students is 152 cm.
Total height of 8 students = mean × number of students
= 152 × 8
= 1216 cm
Total height of the 3 new students = 160 + 165 + 164 = 489 cm
New total height = 1216 + 489
= 1705 cm
The new total number of students is 8 + 3 = 11
New mean height = `"New total height"/"Number of Students"`
= `1705/11`
= 155 cm
