Solution

Given,

Length (l) = 5m
Breadth (b) = 2.5 m
and Height (h) = 1.25 m

(a) Volume of water tank in `"m"^3`:

= l × b × h

= 5m × 2.5 m × 1.25 m

= 15.625 `"m"^3`

(b) Volume of water tank in litre:

= 15.625 × 1000

= 15625 litre
