Solution

Given,

The dimensions of the box.

l = 20 cm, b = 16 cm, h = 24 cm

Volume of cuboid = l × b × h

= 20 × 16 × 24

= 7680 cm3

Volume of cube = a3

= (4)3

= 64 cm3

4 cm cubes needed to match volume of cuboid  = `7680/64`

The number of cubes that can be put into the box = 120 cubes.
