Solution

Let the radius of the circle be r and circumference C.

Now,

C- r = 37

⇒  2πr - r = 37

`⇒ "r" = (2xx22/7-1) = 37 `

`=> r = (37xx7)/37 = 7 "cm"`

Now, C = 2πr `=2xx22/7xx7=44  "cm"`

Hence, the circumference of the circle is 44 cm.
