    • Map A: Represents January (Winter Season).
    • Map B: Represents July (Summer/Monsoon Season).

    Pressure High pressure over land, low over the sea. Low pressure over land, high over the sea.
    Wind Winds blow from land to sea (Northeast Monsoon). Winds blow from sea to land (Southwest Monsoon).
  3. Cause of Differences:
    • In January (Winter): The landmass is cold and has high pressure, while the sea is warmer with low pressure. So winds blow from land to sea.
    • In July (Monsoon): The landmass heats up and has low pressure, while the sea is cooler with high pressure. So winds blow from sea to land, bringing monsoon rains.
