Solution
The following are the advantages of hybrid power over thermal power:
- when hydropower is generated from water, an abundant energy source, it is important than thermal power. Other non-renewable and finite resources include coal, natural gas, and petroleum. Hydropower is therefore a preferable choice if you want to protect non-renewable resources.
- One clean, non-polluting energy source is hydrogen power. Pollution of the environment is caused by thermal power. By lowering CO2 emissions and thereby battling pollution and the greenhouse effect, hybrid power helps in the fight against climate change.
- In addition to the previously mentioned, hydropower plants do not release the waste heat or gases that come from fossil fuel-powered establishments, which contribute causes of acid rain, global warming, and air pollution.
