⇒ 4(3x + 2) = – 3(2x – 3) ...[By cross-multiplication]
⇒ 12x + 8 = – 6x + 9
⇒ 12x + 6x = 9 – 8 ...[Transposing – 6x to LHS and 8 to RHS]
⇒ 18x = 1
⇒ `(18x)/18 = 1/18` ...[Dividing both sides by 18]
∴ `x = 1/18`
