Solution

`(49 xx z^-3)/(7^-3 xx 10 xx z^-5) = ((7)^2 xx z^-3)/(7^-3 xx 10 xx z^-5)`

= `((7)^(2 + 3) xx z^(-3 + 5))/10`  ...[∵ am ÷ an = (a)m – n]

= `((7)^5 z^2)/10`

= `7^5/10 z^2`
