3x (4x −5) + 3

`12x^2 - 15x + 3`

For `x = 1/2`,

= `12(1/2)^2 - 15(1/2) +  3`

=`12 xx 1/4 - 15/2 + 3`

= `3 - 15/2 + 3`

= `6 - 15/2`

= `(12 - 15)/2`

= `(-3)/2`
