Ten-year old boy saves a drowning girl.
Nashik – 26th July (Staff Reporter): A Ten-year-old boy from Nashik, staff reporter, is being hailed as a hero after he helped a 4-year-old girl from drowning at his apartment complex pool yesterday.
“I went underwater and then I swam around, and then I saw her, and I thought she was playing around.” Pratik Patil said.
Mukta, a four-year-old, was not playing about. She had drifted into the deep end of the pool and was unable to swim. Pratik discovered her unconscious at the bottom. He went down and dragged her out with all his power before calling for assistance. She received first aid from those around her. Everyone was pleased when the girl began coughing and opened her eyes.
By then, her parents had arrived and thanked Pratik for his amazing deed, and Mukta had been brought to the hospital. The complex secretary, the local police inspector, and the residents of the complex had all applauded Pratik and presented him with numerous gifts. It was definitely a remarkable incident for him.
