(1 + cot A + tan A) (sin A – cos A) = sin A tan A – cot A cos A

Theorem

Solution

LHS = `(1 + (cos A)/(sin A) + (sin A)/(cos A))(sin A - cos A)`

= (sin A + cos A + sin A tan A – cos A – cot A cos A – sin A)

= (sin A tan A – cot A cos A) = RHS.
