LHS = (1 + tan A – sec A) × (1 + tan A + sec A)
= (1 + tan A)2 – sec2 A
= 1 + tan2 A + 2 tan A – sec2 A
= sec2 A + 2 tan A – sec2 A
= 2 tan A
= RHS
Hence Proved.
