Given, temperature of Himachal Pradesh = –16°C
∵ `C/5 = (F - 32)/9`
⇒ `(-16)/5 = (F - 32)/9`
⇒ `F - 32 = -144/5`
⇒ `F = 32 - 144/5`
⇒ `F = (160 - 144)/5`
= `16/5`
= 3.2°F
