We have,
(x2 – 5x + 6) and (2x + 7)
∴ (x2 – 5x + 6)(2x + 7) = x2(2x + 7) – 5x(2x + 7) + 6(2x + 7)
= 2x3 + 7x2 – 10x2 – 35x + 12x + 42
= 2x3 – 3x2 – 23x + 42
