Here,
x → m, `a -> 2/3, b -> -7/3`
We know that,
(x + a) (x + b) = x2 + (a + b)x + ab
∴ `(m + 2/3)(m − 7/3) = m^2 + [2/3 + (-7/3)]m + (2/3)(-7/3)`
= `m^2 + [2/3 - 7/3]m - 14/9`
= `m^2 + [(2 - 7)/3]m - 14/9`
= `m^2 + [(-5)/3]m - 14/9`
= `m^2 - 5/3 m - 14/9`
∴ `(m+2/3)(m-7/3) = m^2 - 5/3m - 14/9`
