  • Release of political prisoners who had not been guilty of violence.
  • Withdrawal of the special ordinances and the ending/withdrawing of prosecutions connected with the Civil Disobedience Movement.
  • As a concession on the salt issue, the government allowed the making of salt for personal use (relief from the salt laws). 
  • Gandhiji agreed to suspend the Civil Disobedience Movement and to attend the Second Round Table Conference in London.
