Sum
Advertisements
Solution
n2 + 1
Giving some difference values to n such as 1, 2, 3, 4,...
(1)2 + 1 = 1 + 1 = 2
(2)2 + 1 = 4 + 1 = 5
(3)2 + 1 = 9 + 1 = 10
(4)2 + 1 = 16 + 1 = 17
We see that a = 2,
d = 5 – 2 = 3
= 10 – 5 = 5
= 17 – 10 = 7
The common difference is not same.
∴ No. It is not an A.P.
