7x2 + 11x − 6 = 0

Verification

Substitute x = 2 in the left-hand side (LHS):

7(2)2 + 11(2) − 6

= 7 ⋅ 4 + 22 − 6

= 28 + 22 − 6

= 44

LHS = 44 ≠ 0 = RHS,

x = 2 is NOT a solution of 7x2 + 11x − 6 = 0​
