Average rate = `-1/2 (Delta [A])/(Delta t)`

= `-1/2 ([A]_2 - [A]_1)/(t_2 - t_1)`

= `-1/2 xx (0.4 - 0.5)/10`

= `-1/2 xx (-0.1)/10`

= 5 × 10−3 M min−1
