In units of minutes,

Average rate = `-(Delta [R])/(Delta t)`

= `-([R_2] - [R_1])/(t_2 - t_1)`

= `-(0.02 - 0.03)/25`

= `-((-0.01))/25`

= 4 × 10−4 M min−1

In units of seconds,

Average rate = `-(Delta[R])/(Delta t)`

= `-((-0.01))/(25 xx 60)`

= 6.66 × 10−6 M s−1
