Species added = 200 species

Time period = 5 years

Growth rate

= `"Final population – Initial population"/"Initial population × Time" xx 100`

Growth rate = `(1200 - 1000)/(1000 × 5) xx 100`

= `200/5000 xx 100`

= 4%
