Solution

Dear Friend,

I hope you are well. I am writing to tell you about the wonderful things I am witnessing in the court of Krishnadevaraya, the ruler of the Vijayanagara Empire. The kingdom is powerful and well organised, with a strong army that protects the empire from its enemies. The king maintains good relations with many local rulers and works to strengthen his kingdom.

Trade is also flourishing. Spices, textiles, precious stones, horses, and other goods are traded with merchants from different regions and foreign lands. The markets are busy and prosperous.

The culture of the kingdom is very rich. Temples, literature, music, dance, and architecture are greatly encouraged by the king. Many scholars and poets receive support at the royal court. People from different communities and occupations live and work together. Festivals and religious celebrations are held with great enthusiasm.

I feel fortunate to witness such a prosperous and culturally rich kingdom. I hope you can visit someday and see its greatness yourself.

Your dear friend,
A Scholar in the Court
