Solution

Given: Let log2 y = x and log3 z = x so y = 2x and z = 3x.

Step-wise calculation:

From log2 y = x

⇒ y = 2x

So 2x = y.

From log3 z = x

⇒ z = 3x

So 3x = z.

12x = (3 × 4)x 

12x = 3x × 4x

12x = 3x × (22)x

12x = 3x × 22x

12x = z × (2x)2 

12x = z × y2

12x = y2z

If you actually meant the product 12x not 12x, then 12x = 12 × log2 y = 12 × log3 z or 12 × (ln y / ln 2).
