Given: log10 x = y

Step-wise calculation: 

From the definition of logarithm x = 10y.

Then `10^(3y  -  1) = (10^(3y))/10`

`10^(3y  -  1) = ((10^y)^3)/10`

`10^(3y  -  1) = x^3/10`
