Given Data:

Weight of the boy (F) = 400 N

Vertical displacement (h) = 2 m

Since the boy climbs vertically upwards, the force applied by him is in the same direction as his vertical displacement (θ = 0°).

Using the work formula:

Work Done (W) = Force (F) × Displacement (h)

W = 400 × 2

W = 800 J

The work done by the boy after climbing the ladder is 800 Joules.
