Resistance (R) = 10 kΩ = 10 × 103 Ω = 10,000 Ω

Formula:

According to Ohm’s Law, the voltage drop (V) across a resistor is given by:

= (550 × 10−6 A) × (10 × 103 Ω)

= 550 × 10 × 10−6+3

= 5500 × 10−3

= `5500/1000`

= 5.5 V
