Solution
∵ 3x + 18° and 2x + 25° are supplementary angles
∴ 3x + 18° + 2x + 25° = 180°
⇒ 5x + 43° = 180°
⇒ 5x = 180°− 43° = 137°
⇒ x =`(137°)/5` = 27.4° or 27° 24′
