Solution

  1. In order to make the bread, the baker’s yeast-Saccharomyces cerevisiae is added to the flour for the fermentation process.
  2. In a commercial bakery, compressed yeast is used, while in domestic settings, a dry, granular form of yeast is used.
  3. When commercial yeast is used to make flour, the flour contains many useful nutrients, such as carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, and minerals.
  4. The anaerobic fermentation also increases the nutritional content of the flour.
  5. As a result, bread and other products made with yeast become more nutritious.
