Solution
Stereotyping means having fixed, oversimplified ideas about a group of people. It treats everyone in that group as the same, ignoring their individual differences. For example, saying “all people of that caste are lazy” or “all women are weak” is a stereotype. When people believe these stereotypes, they start to see entire groups in a negative way without knowing them personally. This unfair generalization leads to prejudice, because it creates negative attitudes toward people just because they belong to that group.
