- Waste is generated when we dispose or throw away things we no longer need. Waste can be generated at home and in industries.
- Waste can be removed or cleared by having a good waste management plan. We should sort out waste of which some can be processed while the rest can be recycled. Our mantra should be: Reduce! Reuse! Recycle! Restore!

(3) We should use organic waste to create biogas and compost.

Read the following sentence.
‘A very wise man once remarked that of the unspoken word, you are a master; of the spoken word, you are a slave.’
The sentence has two pairs of opposites - spoken and unspoken, and master and slave. The contrasting ideas make the sentence more effective. Putting together opposite or contrasting ideas in one sentence is a literary device. It is called antithesis.
