Given, perimeter of shape = 77 cm
∴ Sum of all sides of the shape = 77
⇒ (x + 1) + (x + 1) + (x + 2) + (2x + 1) + (2x + 2) = 77
⇒ 7x + 7 = 77
⇒ 7x = 77 – 7
⇒ 7x = 70
⇒ x = `70/7` = 10
Hence, the value of x is 10 cm.
