In the figure,
∵ Lines are parallel
∴ 2x + 5° + 3x + 55° = 180° ...........(co-interior angles)
⇒ 5x + 60° = 180°
⇒ 5x = 180°− 60° = 120°
∴ x = `(120°)/5` = 24°
Hence x = 24°
