In the figure,
∵ Lines are parallel
∴ ∠1 + 2x = 20° .........(alternate angles)
But ∠1 + 3x + 25° = 180° ........(linear pair)
⇒ 2x + 20° + 3x + 25° = 180°
⇒ 5x + 45° = 180°
⇒ 5x = 180°− 45° = 135°
∴ x =`(135°)/5` = 27°
