Solution
Side of the cube = 2 dm 5 cm
\[ = 2 dm + 5 \times \frac{1}{10} dm ( \because 1 dm = 10 cm)\]
\[ = 2 dm + 0 . 5 dm\]
\[ = 2 . 5 dm\]
\[ \therefore \text { Volume of the cube = (side ) }^3 = (2 . 5 )^3 = 15 . 625 {dm}^3\]
