Given, `8/13` and `3/11`
Sum = `8/13 + 3/11`
= `(8 xx 11)/(13 xx 11) + (3 xx 13)/(11 xx 13)`
= `88/143 + 39/143` ...[∵ LCM of 13 and 11 = 143]
= `(88 + 39)/143`
= `127/143`
Hence, the sum of `8/13` and `3/11` is `127/143`.
