Solution

The equation 2x + 3y – 6 = 0 is of the form

ax + by + c = 0, where a = 2, b = 3, c = – 6

∴ slope of the line = `-"a"/"b" = -2/3`

x-intercept = `-"c"/"a" = -((-6))/2` = 3

y-intercept = `-"c"/"b" = -((-6))/3` = 2
