Given: Diagonals d1 = 48 cm, d2 = 20 cm.

Using the formula Area = `1/2 xx ("product of diagonals")` for a rhombus.

Area = `1/2 xx d_1 xx d_2` 

= `1/2 xx 48 xx 20`

= `1/2 xx 960` 

= 480 cm2

The area of the rhombus is 480 cm².
