First term, a = `3/4`

Common difference d = `5/4 - 3/4`

= `2/4`

= `1/2`

n^th term of the AP,

a_n = a + (n – 1)d

= `3/4 + (n - 1) xx (1/2)`

∴ 9^th term of the AP,

`a_9 = 3/4 + (9 - 1) xx 1/2` 

= `3/4 + 4`

= `19/4`
