Solution
Using law of exponents,
(am × an = am + n) ...[∵ a is non-zero integer]
Repeater machine can do the work is equal to `(1/2)^2 xx (1/3)^2`
= `1/2 xx 1/2 xx 1/3 xx 1/3`
= `1/(2 xx 3 xx 2 xx 3)`
= `1/(6)^2`
So, `(xx (1/6)^2)` single machine can do the same work.
