At position B , the instantaneous velocity of the particle has the direction along \[\vec{BC}\] .

Average velocity between A and B,
\[V_{av} = \frac{\text{ Displacement} }{\text{ Time } }\]
\[= \left( \frac{\vec{AB}}{t} \right)\]
We can see that \[\vec{AB}\] and \[\vec{BC}\] are in the same direction. The point is B (5 m, 3 m).
