The given trinomial is x2 – 5x + 6

Regrouping the expression such that there is a common term to take out, we get:

= x2 – 3x – 2x + 6

= x(x – 3) – 2(x – 3)

= (x – 2) (x – 3)

Hence, the factors are (x – 2) (x – 3).
