  1. Different animal groups share comparable structures and anatomy. Human hands, bull forelimbs, bat patagiums, and whale flippers all have comparable internal architecture. All of these specimens share comparable bones and joints.
  2. There are no similarities in the external morphology. Also, each organ’s function varies depending on the animal. They might not have any structural similarities.
  3. However, the similarities in the anatomy are evidence that they may have a common ancestor.
  4. In this way, the anatomical evidence throws light on the process of evolution.
