Solution
- Terrorism is a type of political violence that specifically targets civilians in order to create fear and affect political outcomes. International terrorism involves individuals or territories of multiple countries. Terrorist groups utilise violence, such as hijackings and bombings in public areas, to exert pressure on governments. The Middle East, South Asia, Europe, and Latin America have all been important hotspots.
- Health epidemics are another global threat. Diseases such as HIV - AIDS, SARS, bird flu, and COVID-19 have spread quickly as a result of increased migration, tourism, and worldwide trade. Poorer regions, such as Africa, have suffered the most from a lack of access to expensive treatments. Mutated variants of previous diseases, such as malaria, dengue, and tuberculosis, have become more difficult to treat.
These global threats show that national borders provide little safety, and there is an increasing need for international cooperation to combat terrorism and health problems effectively.
