3. Common characteristics of gifted individuals, according to the National Association for Gifted Children, are unusual alertness, even in infancy, rapid learning, excellent memory, unusually large vocabulary, advanced comprehension, and high sensitivity.
4. Gifted children are alert, keenly observant, respond quickly and can perform difficult mental tasks.
5. They have superior generalisation and discrimination abilities.
