Solution

We have,

Edge of a metal cube is 3 cm.

A rectangular box is filled with 30 such cubes.

Now we know that,

Volume of a cube = (Edge)3

Then,

The volume of a metal cube is 27 cm3

Now, the internal volume of the box = 30 × (Volume of a metal cube)

= 30 × 27

= 810 cm3

The internal volume of the rectangular box is 810 cm3.
