Solution

Steps of construction:

  1. Draw a line segment OP = 6.5 cm.
  2. Taking O as the centre and radius 2 cm, draw a circle.
  3. Taking OP as the diameter draw another circle which intersects the first circle at Q and R.
  4. Join P to Q and P to R. Hence, PQ and PR are two tangents.
