Nucleosomes are the structures in which DNA wraps around a protein core of eight histone molecules. Nucleosomes are 10 mm in diameter. Nucleotides are derived from a nucleoside by the addition of a molecule of phosphoric acid. The phosphate molecule is linked with sugar molecule at carbon no. 5 or at carbon no. 3.
