Basis	Organising	Directing
Meaning	Organising refers to the procedure of aligning the activities in a certain order.	It is the process of guiding, instructing and motivating employees towards the attainment of organisational goals.
Objective	To bring together all resources including people and materials.	To get the work done in the right manner.
Order	Comes after planning; it is the second function of management.	Comes after staffing.
Level of management	The top- and middlelevel management are concerned with the arrangement of resources.	Directions are given by the managers present at every level of any organisation
Nature	Organising continues till the time all the resources are collected.	Direction is needed till the time targets are achieved.
