Time zones India has a single time zone. Brazil has four time zones
The difference between Greenwich time India is in the eastern hemisphere, and the Indian Standard Time is ahead by 5 hours 30 minutes of the Greenwich Meridian Time. Brazil is in the western hemisphere, and its four different time zones are 2, 3, 4 and 5 hours, respectively, behind Greenwich Meridian Time. BRT is 3 hours behind GMT.
Difference between extreme points  The difference between the two extreme most points is 2 hours or 120 minutes. The difference between two extreme points is around 168 minutes. (2 hours 48 minutes)
Time difference IST stands for Indian Standard Time. BRT stands for Brazilian Time.
