2. The difference between Greenwich time India is in the eastern hemisphere, and the Indian Standard Time is ahead by 5 hours 30 minutes of the Greenwich Meridian Time. Brazil is in the western hemisphere, and its four different time zones are 2, 3, 4 and 5 hours respectively behind Greenwich Meridian Time. BRT is 3 hours behind GMT.
3. Difference between extreme points  In India, the difference between two extreme longitudinal points is 120 mins. (2 hours). India follows only one standard time in the country. In Brazil, the difference between two extreme longitudinal points is 168 mins (2 hrs 48m). Brazil has 4 time Zones in its country.
4. Time difference IST stands for Indian Standard Time. BRT stands for Brazilian Time.
