Differentiate between hypocotyl and epicotyl.

	Hypocotyl	Epicotyl
1.	It is the part of the embryonal axis in between the cotyledonary node and the radicle.	It is the part of the embryonal axis in between the plumule and the cotyledonary node.
2.	In epigeal germination, the hypocotyl elongates so that cotyledons come out of the soil.	In hypogeal germination, the epicotyl elongates so that the cotyledons remain in the soil.
3.	The terminal end of the hypocotyl is the radicle.	The terminal end of the epicotyl is the plumule.
